Dr. Johnson is a life-long resident of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She graduated from Pioneer High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kalamazoo College. She worked for two years as a Research Assistant in a dental laboratory at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the U of M in 1998. After graduation, Dr. Johnson joined the Public Health Service and was a dentist in the Indian Health Service for the Umatilla Tribe in Pendleton, Oregon. She returned to Ann Arbor in 2000 and began teaching dental students at the U of M. She joined Liberty Dental, PLC in 2002 and assumed ownership in May of 2008. In her free time, Dr. Johnson takes pottery classes and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pets. Also, she volunteers for Food Gatherers and the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
